If you have any questions about the festival, please email us at for assistance. We will do our best to return all messages in a timely manner.

What is Craft the Night Away?

Craft the Night Away is a craft beer tasting of beers, ciders, and meads from approximately 30 breweries and focused on seasonal and local selections.  NEW in 2021 we are adding a fiddling contest (5-10pm) sanctioned by Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association.

When and where is the festival being held?

The festival is in Downtown Sherman on the Courthouse Square, Saturday, June 19, 2021.

The fiddling is 5-10pm.

The beer tasting is 5-10pm.

What does the festival ticket include?

The ticket ($25*) includes a souvenir tasting glass for sampling 8 different beers, ciders, and meads (24 ounces total) between 5-10 PM. Additional tasting cards are available for purchase: 8 (eight) 3-ounce tastings for $5 (cash only.) Please take good care of your tasting glass since we will not be issuing extras to those who break them! The event will also have live music, food trucks, and artisan/craft vendor booths.

(No ticket is needed for attending only the fiddling contest.)

*Ticket Price Day of Event: $30

Do I need a ticket for the fiddling contest?

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of the event.

How can I purchase tickets?

Please visit our TICKETING page to purchase tickets or buy them in person at A Touch of Class Antique Mall, 118 W. Lamar Street, Sherman.

Will beer be sold in full containers?

Yes, but only at the bar near the fiddling stage.

I am a home brewer. May I bring my beer?

No, unfortunately only breweries with a Cartage Permit are allowed to bring beer.

What are the rain plans?

Plan to come rain or shine because we will be here!   Our rain venue is inside Knight Furniture & Mattress, 108 W Lamar Street, right on the downtown square.

I like festivals but I don't like beer.

The best part about a brewfest is you get to try beers you might enjoy. BUT we understand some people just don’t like beer. Craft the Night Away also has artisan craft vendors, food trucks, 1 stage featuring live performances, and another stage dedicated to our fiddling contest.

Is there free parking?

There are several free parking lots near the Courthouse Square. Please visit our MAP page.

Are children allowed?

Children are permitted at the festival, and they will enjoy, in particular, the younger fiddling contestants from 5-6pm.  But please keep in mind that this event is designed for adults who are 21 and over.

Is there a Designated Driver Ticket?

Designated Drivers do not need tickets. They may attend and purchase non-alcoholic beverages and food, enjoy the music, shop, etc., without purchasing a ticket.

Is food included in the ticket?

Food is NOT included in the festival ticket, however there will be great food for sale that will pair well with beer!

What forms of payment will be accepted at the event?

Most items for sale at the event will be cash only. There are ATMs nearby.

Are there ATM's available at the event?

No, but there is a bank 2 blocks away. Please remember most items for sale at the event will be cash only.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, but no pets are allowed on the courthouse grounds. Service animals will be allowed as permitted by Federal law.

Will there be public transportation available?
