Join us in DOWNTOWN SHERMAN on July 11, 2015 for some real, old-time fun: train rides, Santa, dinosaurs, coloring, painting, Christmas carols, root beer floats, a bike parade, and much more. From 10:00-2:00 you will find plenty of wonderful things to do, and most of it is FREE!
Every first Friday of the month interested citizens gather in Historic Downtown Sherman for coffee, conversation, and a brief talk by Mayor Cary Wacker. Please join us for another “Coffee with the Mayor” THIS FRIDAY as Mayor Wacker presents LINC Sherman – [Linking, Innovating, Nurturing Creativity] – which is the initiative to create the downtown Cultural District. The NEA grant was submitted on January 14 and she has a map, materials, and ideas to share.
Research has proven that those who begin their Fridays at ‘Coffee With the Mayor’ are 48% more effective at their job. Well, not really. But the coffee IS good, and the conversation IS stimulating. So come!!
