Who can I contact if I have a question about the festival?

If you have any questions about the festival, please email us at director@downtownsherman.com for assistance. We will do our best to return all messages in a timely manner.

What is Craft the Night Away?

Craft the Night Away is a craft beer tasting of beers, ciders, and meads from approximately 30 Texas breweries and focused on seasonal and local selections.

When and where is the festival being held?

The festival is being held in Downtown Sherman on the Courthouse Square, Saturday, April 7. The VIP Pre-Party is from 4-5 p.m., and general admission is from 5-9 p.m.

What does the festival ticket include?

The VIP Ticket ($35) enables you to enter the festival an hour early, speak with the brewers, and sample beer which may be gone later in the evening. You will receive an additional tasting card to use from 4-5 p.m. (only). The VIP Ticket also includes everything listed below under ‘General Admission’.

The General Admission Ticket ($25*) includes a souvenir tasting glass for sampling 8 different beers, ciders, and meads (24 ounces total) between 5-9 p.m. Additional tasting cards are available for purchase: 8 (eight) 3-ounce tastings for $5 (cash only.) No, our permit from TABC only allows us to serve 3-ounce samples.

I am a home brewer. May I bring my beer?

No, unfortunately only breweries with a Cartage Permit are allowed to bring beer.

What are the rain plans?

Plan to come rain or shine because we will be here! Wear your rain gear and make your way from tent to tent.

I like festivals but I don't like beer.

The best part about a brewfest is you get to try beers you might enjoy. BUT we understand some people just don’t like beer. Craft the Night Away also has 2 stages featuring 4 live performances, a corn hole tournament, artisan craft vendors, food trucks, and wonderful ciders.

Is there free parking?

There are several free parking lots near the Courthouse Square. Please visit our MAP page.

While children will be permitted at the festival, please keep in mind that this event is designed for adults who are 21 and over, and there will be no activities that are oriented toward children.

Designated Drivers do not need tickets. They may attend and purchase non-alcoholic beverages and food, enjoy the music, shop, etc., without purchasing a ticket.
